  1. Achievement of students (if any)
  • Some of the P.G. students and almost all the research scholars presented and published research papers under the supervision of our faculties in national seminars.
  • The research scholars have published their research papers in national and international refereed journals.
  • Formation of an English Club and P.G. Association which organize several activities in each session like Essay Competition, Slogan Writing, Elocution, Presentation of Seminar Papers, Guest Talks etc.
  • The students of the department have qualified in National Eligibility Test and State Eligibility Test.
  • They have qualified in CTET, TET. TGT. PGT.
  • Many students have been successful in PSC exams for Assistant Professor and are serving as assistant Professors in Government Colleges and Government Engineering College, Raipur.
  • Recently five more have qualified in written exam of Assistant Professor organised by PSC and are waiting to face their interviews.
  • Some students have been serving as Assistant Professors in Private Universities and colleges.
  • One student is working as Pro-Vice Chancellor in MATS University, Raipur.
  • One student is doing the job of Branch Manager in Bajaj Finance and the other in the Tourism Department.
  • Some students opted for higher studies and did MPhil and PhD and were successful while some more are pursuing doctoral research.
  • RitikaSagar won in Plural Youth Film Festival 2015 and got first prize in International Collegiate Essay Competition organised by NTPC.
  • Mr NurulHoda, research Scholar is technical expert and member of Indian Society for Promotion of English Language and Literature (iSPELL) India.
  • Mr NurulHoda, research Scholar is technical expert and member of steering committee of Indian Society for Promotion of English Language and Literature (iSPELL) Chhattisgarh Forum and has performed the role of moderator and Master of ceremonies in many programs.
  • She has been interviewer, Moderator of programs of the forum.
  • Mr NurulHoda and VinteeRawalkar acted as Moderator and Master of Ceremonies in the National e-Symposium organised by IQAC and The Department of English.
  • NurulHoda also helped in streaming the events of iSPELL and English Department live on Facebook.
  • Many students of PG and research scholars of the research centre of English are members of iSPELL CG Forum and take active part in its programmes that are organised weekly.
